JOBIL122

India / London

Role: ROTA Nanny 4 weeks / 4 weeks

Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary: Competitive

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: Flights covered, daily transport to work, private apartment ++

A thoughtful and happy family are looking for an experienced Norland Nanny to join their household, caring for a wonderful 2.5 year old boy. The Nanny will work on rotation with their current wonderful Norland Nanny.

The little boy is a sociable and affectionate child who enjoys music, cars, and books. He follows a well structured routine, attending nursery Monday to Friday mornings and taking an afternoon nap after lunch. His afternoons include a variety of enriching activities such as sensory play, music, drama, and swimming with external groups.

Although this is a rota role, the family are very conscious of ensuring their nannies are happy and rested. They have continued to employ a night nurse, to enable the nannies to clock off at 7pm. Mum is also hands-on and loves to be involved with the child’s daily schedule.

The position is based between London and India, with most of the summer spent in London. The family also love to travel to exciting destinations and enjoy bringing their nannies along with them.

During the time spent in India, the family provide separate accommodation for the nannies, which can also be used during their time off if they wish. The family and current nanny will provide full support to ease the transition for candidates unfamiliar with India.

The household is fully staffed with an organised and supportive team, ensuring the nanny has assistance in their daily duties.

The family is looking for someone kind, gentle, and nurturing who understands emotion coaching and applies it to their caregiving. The ideal candidate should be professional, active, discreet, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

They are looking for someone confident in their abilities, who can come in and manage the child’s schedule, including communication with teachers and other household staff, whilst also supporting their early development through engaging activities.

There are no housekeeping duties involved, but the nanny is expected to maintain organisation regarding the child’s items and schedule. Given that he attends nursery daily, there will be sufficient time for planning, toy rotation, and downtime.

As the family travels extensively worldwide, flexibility and adaptability are essential for this role.

This is truly a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced nanny to work within a warm, structured, and well-supported household. Their current nanny speaks very highly of the family and is willing to speak to any candidates.
